Arrive in Taipei, before continuing to Hanoi. Upon our arrival, we begin
our exploration of Hanoi with visits to the Temple of Literature, West
Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda, etc. Dinner included as a tour service.

Fri, Apr. 20 Hanoi:
This mornings sightseeing will include Hoa Lo prison (Hanoi Hilton), Hoan
Kiem Lake, and the old quarter of Hanoi, etc. Lunch provided. This
afternoon is free for rest, shopping or continued exploration of the
city. Dinner is provided as a tour service.
Sat., Apr. 21 Hanoi:
Morning visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, American
War Museum and Ethnology Museum. Lunch provided. This evening, following
our dinner, we will enjoy a performance of the famous Vietnamese Water
Puppets. 
Sun., Apr. 22 Hanoi/
Ha Long Bay:
Morning
departure for Halong Bay, an extraordinarily beautiful UNESCO World
Heritage site. Upon arrival, we will board
Victory Star
cruise boat for an overnight
cruise on the Bay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included with our
accommodations. All cabins have private baths.
Mon., Apr. 23
Halong Bay/Hanoi/Hue:
Continue with our Halong Bay cruise before returning to Hanoi for dinner,
provided as a tour service. After dinner depart on an evening flight to
Hue. Accommodations at
Saigon Morin Hotel,
including daily breakfasts.
Tue., Apr. 24 - Hue:
Morning sightseeing at the Citadel, Purple Royal Palaces, etc. Lunch
provided as a tour service. Your afternoon is free to explore the
expansive local market with its vibrant colors, row after row of food
stalls, and pictures around every corner. Dinner provided as a tour
service.
Wed., Apr. 25 Hue/Hoi An:
This morning, we will travel down the Perfumed River to visit Thien Mu
Pagoda and the mausoleum of King Minh Mang. We then cross Cloudy Pass
before enjoying lunch at Lang Co Beach. Resort accommodations at the
deluxe
Palm Garden Beach Resort,
including daily buffet breakfasts.
Thu., Apr. 26 - Hoi An:
This morning, we climb into pedi cabs to explore the precious town of Hoi
An, a UNESCO
World
Heritage site. Lunch is provided. Free afternoon to complete your
shopping in silk, art and curios shops. Dinner provided as a tour
service.
Fri., Apr. 27 Hoi An:
Today is
a free day so you can enjoy the resort amenities, sleep in, or get your
second fitting of the clothes you are having made.
Sat., Apr. 28 - Hoi An/Da Nang/Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon):
Travel to Da Nang for a flight to Saigon. Accommodations at the deluxe
InterContinental Asiana Saigon,
with daily buffet breakfasts.
Sun. Apr. 29 - Saigon:
Morning
city sightseeing tour including Central Post Office, the Fine Arts Museum,
War Museum, Chinatown, Reunification Palace, etc. This afternoon is free
for your individual enjoyment and exploration of Saigon. Tailor made
clothing, laquerware, or silks are exceptional values. This evening, we
will enjoy a special dinner event at the private home of a U.S. Rotarian
who has been living in Viet Nam since the 1990s.
Mon., Apr. 30 - Saigon:
Morning sightseeing to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, where Viet Cong soldiers
ambushed American Army bases. After the tunnels, we will witness "high
mass" at the Cao Dai Temple. Lunch and dinner provided as tour services.
Tue., May 1 Saigon:
All day
excursion to My Tho and the Mekong Delta. Lunch and dinner are included as
tour services.
Wed.,
May 2 Saigon/Siem Reap:
This
morning, we fly from Saigon to Siem Reap, Cambodia to visit the
extraordinary area of Angkor Wat. Lunch provided as a tour service before
sightseeing which includes the Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Neak Pean
and Preah Khan temples.

Thu., May 3 Siem Reap/Angkor Wat:
All day of sightseeing in Siem Reap, including visits to the South Gate of
Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace and the
Royal Enclosure. Lunch provided as a tour service. After lunch, we will
continue viewing the Angkor Wat Temple complex and view sunset from the
top of Phnom Ba Kheng Hill. Dinner is provided as a tour service.
Fri., May 4 Siem Reap/Bangkok:
This morning, we fly to Bangkok to attend the Rotary International
Convention. Provide morning transfer of passengers and luggage to airport
for flights to Bangkok.
Sat., - Wed., May 5 9 Bangkok:
Attend the Rotary International Convention. No Howard Tours events are
scheduled in deference to the Convention activities.
Thu., May 10 Bangkok/Depart for Home:
Depart on a morning China Airlines flight to Taipei and onward to Los
Angeles, arriving the same day you left Bangkok.
