Rotary Project Fair

Rotarian Purpose
The purpose of this correspondence is to encourage you to share an extraordinary experience with your club members to VIRTUALLY travel to Nigeria in 2022 to attend the 17th Annual West Africa Project Fair, and First Virtual Rotary Project Fair experience.
Getting involved in international projects can often be a challenge, especially during a pandemic when international travel is limited. Project Fairs are a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture and make new friends while meeting project sponsors and finding international projects for your clubs and district to support. Given the challenges of hosting in-person events, many project fairs will be hosting virtual events this year.
The West Africa Projects Fair (WAPF) is an annual event that offers Rotary clubs in Western Africa the opportunity to share their projects with Rotary members from across the world. International visitors meet project host clubs, learn about their community’s priorities, and explore partnership opportunities.
During the virtual event, West African clubs will showcase small, medium and large-scale projects from every area of focus looking for support from international partners. The event will be hosted by Rotary members in Nigeria with project exhibitors from Ghana, Liberia, Benin Republic, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Togo, and Senegal.
We invite you to join us online to learn about the local communities and build partnerships for international service. Learn more about the Virtual West Africa Project Fair and register for the event. Share this opportunity with clubs in your district and encourage them to attend this Fair or another upcoming virtual fair to build international partnerships.
