Tue., Nov. 4 - Depart Detroit or Washington D.C. on an Air France Airlines flight to Paris, France.

Wed., Nov. 5 - Arrive in Paris/Abidjan:  Morning arrival in Paris, where our group will connect with your afternoon flight to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.  Upon our arrival, our group will be transferred to our accommodations at the first-class Hotel Tiama, which includes daily breakfasts.

Thu., Nov. 6 – Abidjan:  This morning we will explore Abidjan, with visits to the prominent site, including the artisan’s center to shop for local arts and crafts. An Intercity Rotary lunch will be included as a tour event. This afternoon, we will visit the U.S. Embassy for a briefing.  This evening is free for individual enjoyment.  .

Fri., Nov. 7 - West Africa Project Fair: This morning, we will attend the opening ceremony of the West Africa Project Fair, followed by all day participation in its seminars and programs. Lunch is included in the Project Fair. We will enjoy a special dinner event this evening

Sat., Nov. 8 – West Africa Project Fair:  Today, we will enjoy all day visits to the individual project booths at the West Africa Project Fair.  Lunch is included in the Project Fair. Tonight we will enjoy a special dinner event and show.

Sun., Nov. 9 - Polio Immunization Activities:  Today, our group will divide into smaller groups to be paired with the Abidjan Rotary Clubs to go out into the neighborhoods and villages of Abidjan for all day polio vaccination activities.  Lunch is provided by our local hosts.  This evening is free for a no host dinner with local Rotarians or other group members. 

Mon., Nov. 10 - Abidjan: The objectives of today’s events are to create friendships and expose our Rotarians to the humanitarian programs of the Abidjan clubs.  Again, in small groups, our Rotarians will go into the local communities to visit the humanitarian programs of the local Rotary clubs.  Lunch is provided by our local host.  This evening, the local Rotarians will host individual dinner events..

Tue., Nov. 11 - Abidjan -   Today, we will enjoy all day sightseeing to the seaside town of Grand Bassam, to visit a traditional market, old colonial buildings and sites, the museum of traditional costumes and the local market.  Lunch will be provided by local Rotarians.  This evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner event with the Abidjan Rotarians.

Wed., Nov. 12 - Abidjan/Depart for Home.  Today will be free to enjoy shopping and free time before our evening departure on a Air France flight to Paris.

Thu., Nov. 13 - Paris/Detroit or Washington DC: Early morning arrival in Paris to connect with a  nonstop Air France flight back to the United States.
