Update regarding tours for the 2027 Rotary International Convention.
For the first time since the 1950s, Howard Tours will not be offering tours to a Rotary International Convention.
There is a special reason. Brad Howard, owner and president of Howard Tours, is serving as General Chair of the 2027 Rotary International Convention. Because of that responsibility, Brad decided that Howard Tours would not offer tours to Barcelona. While operating tours may not constitute a formal conflict of interest, he felt strongly that it was important to avoid even the appearance that his Rotary leadership role could benefit Howard Tours.
But we also wanted to make sure that our longtime tour members, and those who might have traveled with us for the first time in 2027, would have access to the quality travel programs you have come to expect from Howard Tours.
That is why we turned to Kuoni Tumlare, our longtime partner in developing and operating tours in Europe. We know them well, have worked with them for many years, and have confidence in their ability to take good care of our travelers.
Kuoni Tumlare has developed three Barcelona Convention programs. Here are links to their website with information about each tour, registration, and contact information for questions.

We trust you will find these excellent itineraries offering strong travel value. You may have also seen their advertisement in the September issue of Rotary magazine.
Although these are Kuoni Tumlare programs and are not operated by Howard Tours, we would not have invited them to serve our Rotary travel community without confidence in their experience, professionalism, and ability to provide a quality travel experience.
Most importantly, we hope to see you in Barcelona! Howard Tours is simply taking a pause in 2027 from convention tours. We look forward to being back for future Rotary conventions and continuing our polio eradication and, wheelchair delivery tours, and other journeys that combine great travel with the extraordinary opportunities and friendships that come through Rotary.
Warmest regards,
The Howard Tours Team
