Thu., May 23 – Depart Home:
Fri., May 24 – Cross the International Dateline and arrive in Singapore: You arrive a day before the Rotary Convention activities begin. Convention registration, hotel accommodations and transfers to the convention hotels are not included in the tour price.
Sat., May 25 –– Wed., May 29 - Singapore: Attend the Rotary International Convention. No Howard Tours’ events are scheduled in deference to the Rotary Convention activities.
Thu., May 30 – Singapore/Denpasar/Sanur: This morning, our Singapore Air flight to Bali is met and after entry procedures, we are transferred to a lunch, provided as a tour service. After lunch, we are transferred to our accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Bali which includes daily breakfasts.
Fri., May 31 – Ubud: Today, we visit Ubud, one of the most attractive towns in Bali and a ‘must-see’ for anyone visiting the island. Our sightseeing includes the Ubud Monkey Forest, the Royal Palace, and the Ubud Art Market, a great place to find beautiful silk scarves, shirts, statues, handmade woven bags, or baskets along with other hand-crafted goods. Lunch is provided. This afternoon visit the Tegallalang rice fields and Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple before returning to the hotel. This evening is free personal exploration and enjoyment.
Sat., June 01 – Enjoy the Resort: Free day for relaxation at the resort. Tonight, you will experience a special dinner show that will share the Balinese culture and cuisine.
Sun., June 02 – Rural Bali: Our full day sightseeing takes us to the rural areas of Bali, Mount Matur, etc., to explore local life and the traditional home compounds. A traditional Indonesian buffet lunch is included. Evening free.
Mon., June 03 – Bali/Labuan Bajo: This morning’s group flight takes us to Labuan Bajo on the Indonesian island of East Nusa Tenggara, where we will visit the magnificent Komodo islands. Upon arrival we will be transferred to our accommodations at the Sudamala Komodo Hotel, (or equivalent) which includes daily breakfasts. This evening, dinner is included as a tour service at the hotel.
Tue., June 04 – Northern Komodo National Park: Over the next two days, we embark on an unforgettable expedition through the captivating landscapes of Komodo National Park, where every step unveils a new facet of natural beauty. This morning, we set sail on a private yacht, the Nisi, to reach the remote island of the national park. Our exploration includes Kenawa, Sebayur Besar, and Siaba. We will have time to get off the boat, put our feet in the sand and water, where you can peak beneath the surface of the water to see an incredible array of marine life, from coral formations to schools of fish. Lunch is provided on board. We return to our hotel this afternoon for free time during the rest of the day to enjoy the beauty of the island.
Wed., June 05 – Southern Komodo National Park: We continue our exploration traveling to beautiful Pulau Kelor and the magnificent beach of Manjarite, before arriving the rugged island of Rinca, where we expect witness the Komodo dragon, the world’s largest lizards. We continue to Kalong, where the horizon comes alive with an enchanting spectacle. As the sun begins its descent, thousands of flying foxes take to the skies in search of sustenance, creating a mesmerizing ballet against the backdrop of the setting sun. Our day ends with a sunset cocktail, and a private BBQ dinner on a private beach before returning to our hotel.
Thu., June 06 – Enjoy the Resort: Today, you get to explore on your own terms – from reading a book, to snorkeling, or going to the spa, your entire day is yours to decide.
Fri., June 07 – Labuan Bajo/Bali: This afternoon, our group returns to Bali by air and our accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Bali, which will include breakfast.
Sat., June 08 – Denpasar/Return Home. This morning, we provide a transfer to the airport for our group Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore, to connect with our flight back to the U.S.
